The mission of the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center is to prevent child abuse and reduce its devastating impact. The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center was created in 1998 when two long-standing organizations, the San Francisco Child Abuse Council and the TALK Line Family Support Center, formally consolidated their programs in a renovated firehouse in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco.
